With the raging success of the veryaltF summer tour we have decided to continue on with the workshops and even extending the experience. Announcing the second installment of the veryaltf workshop: Very AltF Too. This time around the workshop will be two full days of mayhem and mischief.
Art first.... Business 2nd..
"Art First"
Day one is all about the art. Fundamental lighting and camera techniques, advanced art inspired imagery, posing, and implementing conceptual ideas into your photography. The day will also consist of three (3!) photo shoots - a morning demonstration shoot, an afternoon portfolio building session with plenty of models for everyone, and last (but never, ever least) a night shoot focusing on painting with light along with our signature single-flash-multiple-frame technique.

"Business 2nd"
Day two. All about the money and business of producing and selling your photography. The day starts with the explanation and demonstration of our "one day workflow" which includes our Photoshop techniques and album design using a little Adobe InDesign action. The second half of the day will be spent discussing our marketing strategy, sales and consultation methods for "in town" and "out of town" clients and how we compete without competing.
Two Full days of Altf - we'll see ya there!

Q: Is there a Discount for studio's?
Yes, if you have two or more from your studio sign up, you are elegible for a discount - please email dalisa@altf.com for further information.
Q: Will there be models to shoot?
A: Yep.
Q: Who are you?
A: John Michael Cooper, a 23 year photography veteran - shooting things his own damn way. From high volume Vegas style weddings to extravagant events across the country, John first arrived into international attention because of his unconventional approach in conjunction with a "dress unfriendly" concept of art that inspired the current the Dress craze that is consuming brides and changing their views of photography as they know it.
Dalisa Cooper, with her many years of experience in the publishing and marketing end of the wedding industry, is the business end of altF. Dalisa is also known as the "artist tamer" - keeping JMC focused and somewhat in line to assure success.

Q: Should I ask my mommy for permission?
A: No, absolutely not. Face it, your mom doesn't like us because of our reputation for mayhem. If she knew you wanted to be a bad ass wedding photographer, you would be grounded.
Q: Will there be any Dress Trashing?
A: Dress unfriendly, unconventional posing, and non-traditional environments are just a natural extension of most of our sessions.
Q: Tell us more about the Location of the workshops.
